For assets you licensed while subscribed, yes — Artlist’s perpetual license keeps them cleared after cancellation, which is genuinely fair. The catch is scope and dependency: the entry Social plan does not cover client work or paid ads, and licensing music for any new project requires an active (usually annual) plan. Artyfile removes both: every track is bought once with full commercial scope included.

Yes — every €29.90 license includes unlimited use in your own and client projects worldwide, and it covers paid advertising. There is no separate commercial tier: one price, full scope, documented in the license certificate PDF you can hand to your client.

Artyfile uses YouTube Content ID with a monetization policy. A claim may appear; it is not a copyright strike. With Basic, ad revenue claimed for the music goes to Artyfile, not to your channel. Since 24 September 2026, new YouTube Shorts longer than one minute and up to three minutes with an active Content ID claim are no longer blocked automatically and can stay playable; the claim itself still applies. For Shorts campaigns, contact us before buying; a licence does not automatically release a claim. Your license certificate documents your rights. Limited Edition owners share in the recording’s Content ID revenue instead.

It depends on your volume. If you score dozens of projects a year with fresh music each time, a subscription can cost less. Yes — this is unique to Artyfile. A Limited Edition (from €69.90) gives you 1–10% ownership of a track's master recording, as numbered shares in Artyfile's ownership register, earning a share of streaming and sync royalties (not guaranteed). For brands that need a track nobody else can use, Artyfile also quotes exclusive licenses and full master buyouts.
