Bach: BWV211 Aria 2

An Artyfile recording of an aria from Bach's Coffee Cantata, BWV 211, running two and a half minutes. The playing is elegant and light-footed rather than solemn, catching Bach in his most good-humoured mode. Bach died in 1750, so the composition is public domain; this particular recording licences through Artyfile.

What does Bach: BWV211 Aria 2 sound like?

Baroque chamber textures with clear part-writing: lines you can follow individually, a steady walking motion underneath, and the poised articulation the repertoire asks for. The mood is formal but cheerful, which makes it far more usable than the heavier Bach that period drama tends to reach for by reflex.

Where does this track work best?

• Period drama and historical documentary underscore
• Museum, gallery and cultural institution films
• Luxury, heritage and craftsmanship brand advertising
• Café, patisserie and fine dining scene setting
• Educational and classical music programming
• Refined corporate and institutional presentations

The distinction that matters commercially: the composition is free, the recording is not. Using a commercial classical release without clearance is where productions get caught — an Artyfile licence removes that exposure.

Artyfile administers the sync rights to its own catalogue directly, so no additional collection-society fee falls due on the licence itself, and every purchase comes with a licence certificate as documented proof of what you cleared. A public performance at a live event remains a separate matter that the venue or organiser settles in the usual way.

Artyfile registers this catalogue in YouTube Content ID under a monetize policy. Expect a routine Content ID match on an upload that uses the track — YouTube Content ID rules apply, including restrictions on longer Shorts. On the Basic licence the music's advertising revenue flows into Artyfile's pool; on a Limited Edition share it flows back to the owners of the master.

If you would rather own a piece of the recording than licence it, the Limited Edition offers numbered shares in this master at €69.90 per 1% share, capped at twenty shares per track and entered in the Artyfile ownership register. Shareholders receive quarterly statements and a share of the recording's streaming revenue. Royalties depend on actual usage, are not guaranteed and may be zero.
