Bernd

Bernd is a fast, cheerful Alpine folk-rock dance song by the Meissnitzer Band from 2010: a distorted guitar riff, rock drums, diatonic accordion and a female lead in Austrian dialect with male backing vocals, all about wanting a dance with Bernd. Sync licence from €29.90.

What does Bernd sound like?

A guitar riff kicks the song off, drums and accordion join, and the verses run straight into a singable chorus at about 162 BPM. An accordion solo and a short break in the second half give vocal-free space before the last chorus. Pure dance-floor energy with a clean ending.

Where does this track work best?

• Dance, wedding-party and festival scenes
• Après-ski and beer-tent footage
• Comedy scenes with a flirt on the dance floor
• Energetic reels with an Alpine look
